Colegio Internacional Sek-El Castillo

SEK-El Castillo is a private international school located in Villanueva de la Cañada, in the northwest of Madrid. It is part of SEK Education Group, an educational institution founded in 1892 with over 130 years of history, present in Spain, France, Ireland, the Middle East, and with a global online campus, grouping more than ten schools and over 7,000 students from more than 80 nationalities. The group also includes Camilo José Cela University and the Felipe Segovia Foundation.

The school covers all educational stages, from 4 months to 18 years, with Nursery, Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, and Baccalaureate. It pioneers and continuously offers the three International Baccalaureate programs from ages 3 to 18, integrating them with the national curriculum, and provides full immersion in English along with bilingual education in English and Spanish. In Early Childhood Education, it applies a model based on early stimulation, immersion in English, and the development of talent, creativity, and emotional intelligence.

Among its facilities and services are a swimming pool, football field, cafeteria, and extracurricular activities, on a campus of over 40,000 m². It has female and male international residences where students from 15 nationalities live together, with enrichment programs, high-performance sports, and academic programs. Through SEK International Sports Academy, it offers high-performance sports programs and also develops the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. The center is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS). Among its students, more than 40 nationalities are represented.
