Sapienza Tres Cantos

Sapienza Tres Cantos is a private preschool located in Tres Cantos that caters to children aged 0 to 3 years. The center operates in Spanish and English and has a cafeteria and school garden. The management is led by Andrea Fernández López.

Its educational project is based on active pedagogies —including Montessori, Pickler, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia— combined with contributions from neuroscience, focusing on the physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological development of early years. The close relationship with each child and their family is one of the core aspects, along with values such as learning through direct experience, stimulating creativity and autonomy, caring for physical and emotional well-being through healthy habits, and respecting the rhythms of each stage.

The educational team is trained in respectful education, positive discipline, and active pedagogies, and maintains continuous training. The facilities have been recently renovated and include an exclusive outdoor patio of 300 m² designed for play and learning. Regarding food, homemade and balanced meals are offered, designed by nutritionists, without processed foods, fried items, or added sugars.

The relationship with families is open-door, with constant communication, drop-offs and pick-ups within the classroom, the possibility of accompanying children during the bonding period, application of communication between school and family, tutoring, and reports. The center also organizes a Family School with sessions on positive discipline, respectful parenting, neurodevelopment, and sleep. The hours are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with options for extension, and it remains open all year except for holidays and the second half of August. Being an authorized center by the Community of Madrid, families can apply for early childhood education scholarships and other deductions and benefits, and daycare tickets are accepted as a form of payment. The center is currently accepting enrollment for the 2026/27 school year and offers the possibility to visit its facilities.
