Maestro José Fuentes

CEIP Maestro José Fuentes is a public educational center located in Sevilla, in the Este-Alcosa-Torreblanca district. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education, with Spanish, English, and French as the languages present in its activities.

The center provides a school cafeteria service and publishes its menu, and develops extracurricular and complementary activities within its Opening Plan. It keeps families informed through Ipasen and uses the Moodle Centros platform. It has conversation assistants and language sites, publishes a school magazine, and shares news and announcements directed at families, such as family assemblies, the new enrollment process, school supplies, and issues related to the Sevilla Concilia program. It also disseminates its Center Plan.

The center defines itself as an open space for educational exchange and the dissemination of good teaching practices at the European level, and acts as a receiving center for training teachers, welcoming students and future educators from different countries each year. Among the institutions from which it has received internship students are the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès, the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier, and graphic arts students from Hyères. These stays allow participants to understand the functioning, methodologies, and projects of the center, and contribute, according to the center itself, to the professional development of its teaching staff and its international dimension.
