Instituto De Psicopediatría

The Instituto de Psicopediatría is a semi-private center located in Sevilla, in the Este-Alcosa-Torreblanca district. It is part of the Fundación Psicopediatría de Sevilla, an organization that manages four centers for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The center has a Special Education School for students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, which may be associated with other sensory, motor, or psychological disabilities, such as autism or severe behavioral disorders. It offers a cafeteria service and has nearby bus and tram stops.

The foundation also has a San José Occupational Day Center, which provides professional and multidisciplinary care, with services tailored to the needs and interests of each person and their life stage. Additionally, it has a San José Day Center for individuals over 18 years old with intellectual disabilities and high dependency who require different levels of support in basic daily living activities, and a Severely Affected Residence that offers comprehensive and specialized care for adults with high dependency, with an individualized Personal Support Plan. Other services include Family Guidance, Leisure and Free Time, with two monthly weekend activities to promote normalization and participation in community resources, and a Family Respite program at the La Motilla Residence in Dos Hermanas, which has 6 places contracted with the Ministry of Equality, Social Policies and Conciliation and the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía, for stays ranging from 24 hours to one month.

User transportation is provided through six routes, some of which are adapted. Furthermore, the Family Care service, managed by a social worker, provides information about resources and benefits under the Dependency Law and maintains contact with social, health, and other entities. The foundation also offers volunteering and training internship opportunities.
