Cardenal Herrera Oria

IES Cardenal Herrera Oria is a bilingual public secondary school in the Community of Madrid, located in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with Spanish and English as working languages. The center makes public its Educational Project, the Coexistence Plan, and the Digital Center Plan, along with grading criteria and the school calendar, and has a virtual classroom for students.

The secretariat handles admissions and the issuance of certificates, and the guidance department provides information on access to university and vocational training (FP). Families have access to the Roble platform and orientation guides, while the head of studies manages the recovery of pending subjects and extraordinary exams.

Among its services and activities, the center develops the Programa Refuerza, an initiative implemented by the Ministry of Education to expand educational measures aimed primarily at students with learning difficulties, which takes place outside school hours. The center also publishes the school magazine 'eL imPERtiNEnTe'. In the activities section, 3rd-year ESO students have participated in an exchange with a school in the Netherlands and in an art and tessellation project within the Geometry block of Mathematics, and the course concluded with a match between teachers and students.
