Frequently asked questions

BSV Nexus is the new pre-university campus of the British School of Valencia, located eight minutes on foot from the main campus. The center offers a bridge between school and university.

Students must take the Cambridge International AS and A-Level exams. In Year 12, they take the AS Level in their chosen subjects, and in Year 13, they complete the A-Levels, needing to finish four A-Levels by the end of Year 13.

All subjects are taught in English, except for foreign language subjects. The subjects of the Specific Competence Tests (PCE) are taught in Spanish.

Students take the C1 Advanced in Year 12 and the C2 Proficiency in Year 13. They can also obtain the DELF B2 or DALF C1 in French, the Goethe-Zertifikat (B1/B2) in German, and the HSK (HSK3/HSK4) in Mandarin Chinese.

Access to Spanish or British universities is based on the results of the A-Level and PCE exams. For British universities, at least three A-Level subjects related to the chosen degree must be passed, and admission is done through UCAS, which allows the selection of up to five university courses.

Students can participate in the Student Council, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, the European Youth Parliament, and the Peer Education Project. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is voluntary and non-competitive, with three levels: bronze, silver, and gold.
