Centre Priv. Ed. Inf. 1Er Cicle Pekes De La Olivereta

C.E.I. Pekes de la Olivereta is a private early childhood education center located in the Patraix district of València, dedicated to the first cycle of this stage (0-3 years). Its educational project is based on the developmental stages typical of this period and addresses the interests and needs of each child, with the aim of developing their emotional, cognitive, intellectual, and motor skills. The center is authorized and subsidized by the Conselleria de Educación and the Ayuntamiento de Valencia, and it complies with current regulations regarding facilities, safety measures, teacher qualifications, and educational projects. Its educational team consists of teachers, assistants, and specialists in early childhood education.

The methodology is based on play, discovery, and meaningful learning, respecting the developmental pace of each student, and is supported by strategies from the Montessori methodology and the development of Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences. Among the pillars of the project are education in values and the acquisition of social habits of order and hygiene, aimed at strengthening self-esteem and personal autonomy. The center is defined as bilingual and teaches English during the daily schedule, supported by play and music. Music and psychomotricity are worked on as fundamental areas, along with workshops and special days as learning strategies.

The center maintains continuous communication with families through a daily digital agenda, email, information bulletin, and telephone, and has a pedagogical office that offers support to families, stimulation in the classroom, continuous and individual assessments, guidance, and schools for parents and teachers, in addition to quarterly meetings and at the beginning of the school year. It has a dining room with its own kitchen, with menus prepared daily and supervised by a nutritionist, and the possibility of adapting the menu for children with allergies, intolerances, or other conditions. Its facilities include a large playground and a bedroom, and it offers extracurricular activities and excursions.
