La Casita De La Abuela

La Casita de la Abuela is a private preschool located in Tres Cantos, in the Community of Madrid. It provides Early Childhood Education in its two cycles, the first (0-3 years) and the second (3-6 years), and includes English in daily classes, in connection with the educational project, to work on the same concepts while introducing children to this second language.

The center remains open all year round, from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and only closes on national holidays, those of the Community of Madrid, and local holidays in Madrid Capital, as well as on December 24 and 31 and January 5. It offers a cafeteria, extracurricular activities, and weekly thematic workshops within the school schedule, with methodologies based on play aimed at promoting self-esteem and autonomy. Among its activities are speech therapy, pediatric physiotherapy, and weekly mindfulness sessions, in addition to workshops on various themes (music, cooking, costumes, gardening, or storytelling, among others). Throughout the year, events such as storytelling with the visit of the Castañera in autumn, the Halloween party, the visit of Santa Claus at Christmas, Carnival week, a visit to the farm in spring, and water games in summer are celebrated.

During non-school periods of Christmas, Holy Week, and vacations, as well as in summer, it organizes camps and activities with meals included, and has a daycare service for the little ones. It also develops a Parents' School with monthly sessions taught by a pedagogue and a preschool educator from the center, addressing topics such as emotional education, toilet training, schedules and routines, new technologies, bronchiolitis, or language development.
