Humanitas Bilingual School Tres Cantos

Humanitas Bilingual School Tres Cantos is a semi-private school in Tres Cantos that provides bilingual education in Spanish and English and adds Chinese. It covers the stages of early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Among its complementary services are cafeteria, school transport, psychopedagogical guidance, extracurricular activities, the Kangaroo program, study stays abroad, a summer course, and summer camps abroad.

The educational project of the center is structured around four aspects: curricular preparation, language training, the use of technology, and mastery of emotional intelligence. Its declared purpose is to educate and train free, independent individuals with critical thinking, providing a comprehensive education in values, skills, and knowledge to face a globalized world, within an appropriate socio-affective framework.

The pedagogical foundations are organized into several learning styles: personalized, with students as the axis of the process and addressing their needs and prior knowledge; constructive criticism, with an open and global vision that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity; participatory, through teamwork with students as protagonists and teachers as guides; and socio-emotional, with the development of emotional intelligence to identify and manage one's own and others' emotions. The learning method combines hybrid and flipped classroom approaches, inductive (project-based learning, problem-based learning, learning through play, learning by teaching, and learning by doing) and deductive (lecture).
