Hipopotamo Blas

Hipopotamo Blas is a private preschool located in the municipality of Tres Cantos. It offers early childhood education in its two cycles: first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years). Its educational project covers areas such as psychomotricity, language, nutrition, and emotional development, with the aim of equipping children with tools to become independent and achieve happiness. The team consists of experienced individuals. The school maintains close and fluid communication with families, ensuring that children feel at home.

Regarding the facilities, the center is adapted to facilitate the mobility of the little ones, with no steps or doors that could pose dangers. It has a psychomotricity room, a classroom for babies aged 0 to 12 months (with an activity area and rest room), a classroom for children aged 1 to 2 years, and a classroom for children aged 2 to 3 years, which includes a calm corner. Additionally, it has a computer room, a dining service, and extracurricular activities.

The school has its own kitchen and a cook, Mayte, who prepares balanced and healthy menus. Mayte has published 447 recipes on her blog. The center is located in a pedestrian area with three nearby parks, which they use to explore the environment, stroll through the neighborhood, visit establishments, or play outdoors. Throughout the year, various celebrations take place: Halloween, color party, Christmas, San Isidro, book week, and end of term. The school remains open in August. To get to know the center, personalized visits are conducted for each family throughout the year, instead of massive open house days.
