Zurbarán

CEIP Zurbarán is a public educational center in Sevilla that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle) and Primary Education. It has a computer room and conducts its activities in Spanish.

Throughout the school year, the center organizes various activities, such as the end-of-stage trip for the third cycle, graduations for 5-year-old Early Childhood and 6th grade Primary, Family Day with workshops and performances, Water Day with inflatable water castles and foam cannon, Lemonade Day, and joint breakfasts. It also celebrates an annual cultural week from which short films recorded at the center have emerged. The school has organized the Music for Peace Meeting on four occasions, a gathering of educational centers from within and outside the Polígono Sur, which in its fourth edition was titled "Cinema for Peace" and took place at the Cultural Factory, with the participation of CEIP Manuel Canela, Giménez Fernández, Paz y Amistad, Valme Coronada, and Al-Andalus, focusing on values such as respect, solidarity, tolerance, and a culture of peace. Additionally, it has participated in the program "Make the Most of School" by the Sevilla FC Foundation, which included a visit to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium.

The center has a social worker and participates in the Equípate Program, which consists of providing a backpack with school supplies to families in situations of social or economic emergency, prioritizing cases such as families with intervention projects in Social Services, beneficiaries of PRAI, children of women victims of gender violence, and participants in socio-educational projects.
