Ntra. Sra. De La Paz

CEIP Ntra. Sra. de la Paz is a public school in Sevilla, located in the Sur district, offering Early Childhood Education for ages 0 to 3 and 3 to 6 years, as well as Primary Education for ages 6 to 12, with Spanish as the vehicular language. Its activities are organized around the stages of Early Childhood, the first, second, and third cycles of Primary, a Specific Classroom, and specialties, and it has its own plans and projects. The center has a library, a space that students also use during recess for various activities.

Throughout the school year, the center carries out training and complementary activities. The teaching staff has completed a course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) taught by the liaison nurses with the educational centers of the Letanías Inmaculada Vieira health center. Among the activities aimed at students are the visit from firefighters, who showed their equipment and work clothing and provided guidelines for action in an emergency, and the visit from the Municipal Orchestra of Sevilla. The fifth-grade Primary students worked on the concentric squares and circles of Kandinsky. The center also participates in the project to feel and live heritage, linked to the school libraries plan, with a trip to the Parque de María Luisa, and in joint activities with educational centers in Polígono Sur around November 25, the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
