Llar D'infants Sol-Solet

The Municipal Nursery School Sol Solet is a publicly owned center with indirect management, supported by the Department of Education. It provides the first cycle of early childhood education (0 to 3 years) with an educational line distributed in a classroom for 0 to 1 years for 8 students, a classroom for 1 to 2 years with 13 students, and a classroom for 2 to 3 years for 20 students, totaling 41 places. The center welcomes children from 4 months to 3 years old.

It is defined as a small and family-oriented school, where both older and younger children can feel at home and be an essential part of daily life. The center believes that the shared task between the school and the family promotes the integral development of children. Habits and routines are part of the day and are conditioned by the physiological needs of the children, such as hygiene, nutrition, and rest; through these, they gain security and autonomy and enhance their self-esteem. Every moment in the life of the school is understood as a learning opportunity to develop senses, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The spaces are organized with educational intent, aiming to invite children to do, create, experiment, and enjoy every corner while sharing experiences. Each space in the classroom is modified according to the interest or pace of the children, the time of year, or the project being worked on, and they are supported in their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. During the school day, there are also moments to foster experiences of discovery, manipulation, movement, creation, communication, and coexistence, whether through laboratories, experimentation and expression proposals, or music sessions, as well as in times closer to the classroom, where they play, tell stories, sing songs, or express themselves freely through drawing, painting, or a mural made together.
