Institut Ramon Berenguer Iv

Institut Ramon Berenguer IV is a public secondary education center located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato in its artistic, humanities, scientific, and technological modalities, as well as Vocational Training Programs (PFI) and Medium and Higher Vocational Training Cycles. Teaching is conducted in Spanish, Catalan, and English. Among its facilities, it has a playground and a library that has its own blog.

The center promotes various educational projects. In 3rd year of ESO, an elective Robotics course is offered, in which students have participated in the Retotech robotics competition. The artistic Bachillerato develops activities such as painting a wall in the playground, participating in illustration contests, and exhibiting their works. Students in the scientific and technological Bachillerato visit companies and participate in computational thinking showcases. Additionally, students in the Gardening and Floristry Vocational Training Cycle have created Christmas floral decorations for the Education Department of the Generalitat. The center also organizes outings and camps.
