Escola Santa Coloma

Escola Santa Coloma is a public center located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and Primary Education (6-12). The center operates in Spanish and Catalan and has a cafeteria service.

Among the activities developed by the center, students from higher levels tell stories in their native language to the younger ones on the occasion of the Day of Origin Languages. Artistic projects are carried out in which all levels participate, as well as English projects in different Primary courses, such as creating a presentation video of the center for new students, interviews with teachers, a project about sports, another about plants, and a passport around the world. In Early Childhood Education, learning activities are conducted through play, introduction to cursive writing, experimentation with light, colors, and shapes, and a reading buddy program among students from different levels. The center also uses the Florence program to enhance mathematical learning.
