Escola Fray Luis De León

Escola Fray Luis de León is a public school located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It offers Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), and Primary Education (6-12 years). The center operates in Spanish and Catalan and has a school meal service.

The educational project of the center is structured around emotional education and the transformation of learning. Among its initiatives, it promotes computational thinking through the Código Escuela 4.0 program and develops a radio-podcast project in which different groups of students participate. It also produces a digital newsletter aimed at families and organizes a literary space, in addition to a project for its own anthem carried out with the representatives of the Primary classrooms.

The center conducts outings and complementary activities throughout the year, such as visits to museums, farms, the Aquarium, the Planetarium of the Museu Torre Balldovina, the Parc de les Olors del Serrat, the firefighters of Santa Coloma, or a bookstore in the municipality, as well as a cantata at the Teatre Sagarra. It has AFA and digital resources for teachers, and participates in the municipal program for the reuse of textbooks and educational innovation projects.
