Escola Castell De Farners

Escola Castell de Farners is a public center in Santa Coloma de Farners that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, the latter organized into initial, middle, and upper cycles. Its educational project is based on the construction of knowledge and the integral development of the person and their abilities and competencies, and includes values such as tolerance, friendship, respect, freedom, coexistence, peace, equality, solidarity, and democracy. The center presents itself as an innovative, creative, inclusive school connected to nature.

Among its projects and areas of work are the Projecte Pinya Castell, Ràdio Castell (school radio), manipulative mathematics, inclusion and emotional education, cooperative work, experimentation, English, the oratory contest, technology, the godparent and godchild program, music and dance, and the Escola Verda program. The center also has its own digital strategy and a school meal plan. It features playgrounds and activities such as camps, as well as the parties and celebrations organized throughout the year. The family association (AFA) offers complementary services.
