Institut Salas I Xandri

Institut Salas i Xandri is a public secondary school in Sant Quirze del Vallès that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Its working languages include Catalan, Spanish, and English. The school's project is outlined in documents such as the Educational Project of the Center, the Linguistic Project, the Coexistence Project, the organizational and operational rules, and a letter of commitment. The institute defines its principles and values, its organizational aspects, and its human team, and it has its own spaces and a parents' association (AFA).

In the pedagogical aspect, the center combines subject and elective work with project-based work, and includes programs, guidance, and coexistence. Textbooks and corresponding materials for each course are published, and activities such as meetings and the start of the school year are organized. The students of 2nd and 4th ESO have participated in Sababot, the educational robotics and computational thinking fair, and the center celebrates Sant Jordi with literary activities in the classrooms and group cohesion dynamics from the TEI program (peer tutoring).
