Escola Canigó

Escola Canigó is a public center in Sant Just Desvern that offers the second cycle of early childhood education (ages 3 to 6) and the primary stage (ages 6 to 12), with Spanish and Catalan as the languages of use. The center has a parents' association (AFA) and provides a section of services on its website, as well as a renewed educational project approved by its School Council on October 13, 2025, developed with the participation of various members of the educational community.

The center uses the digital platforms Clickedu and Canigó Virtual, and maintains a presence on social media. Throughout the school year, students engage in activities such as psychomotor sessions in the early childhood groups, a research project on the regions of Catalonia in fourth grade, the TEI program for peer tutoring between third and fifth grade groups, and a biodiversity project linked to the Parc del Mil·lenari. There are also outings to the Palaudàries farm with the I3 groups, to Catalunya en Miniatura with fourth grade, and to the Olympic Canal with sixth grade for water activities. In sixth grade, students also work on content related to electricity and magnetism through the construction of models.
