Sant Gabriel

Sant Gabriel is a private center located in Sant Adrià de Besòs. It offers early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years), primary education (6-12 years), compulsory secondary education (ESO) (12-16 years), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). In Bachillerato, the center has recently incorporated the artistic modality of plastic arts. The center defines itself as a Gabrielist educational community whose main objective is to prepare students for their future, encouraging them to integrate Christian attitudes and values freely and responsibly, strengthening their knowledge, and promoting their insertion into the world in a critical, committed, and constructive manner.

The educational project of the center is structured around various initiatives. The Gabrielist Classroom organizes learning and classroom work techniques. The multilingual project prepares students to interact in diverse social and cultural environments. The Reading Plan promotes reading competence and a love for reading. The Digital Classroom provides tools and resources for the development of digital skills. The Social Cohesion project fosters a warm and family-like atmosphere from an inclusive perspective. The Sustainability project acts for the development of integral ecology. The Interiority project promotes adequate emotional management and improves the classroom climate. The Health Program offers resources and values for the comprehensive promotion of health. Additionally, the center offers an American curriculum and instruction in English.

Regarding services, the center has extended hours with a reception service from 7:45 to 9:00, from 13:00 to 13:30, and from 17:00 to 18:00, as well as a holiday program during vacation periods. The school hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00. It also offers a school menu, book and uniform sales, and collaborates with the Fundació Hospital de Nens de Barcelona in the field of school health. Early childhood education is organized into three courses with a double line (I3, I4, and I5) and follows the principles of common, inclusive, and coeducational education, paying attention to diversity and the early detection of specific educational needs, with close cooperation between the center and families.
