Virgen De Navalazarza

El Virgen de Navalazarza is a bilingual public school in San Agustín del Guadalix. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and works with Spanish and English. In this stage, the contents and competencies are addressed through project-based work: throughout the year, three annual projects are developed that allow for the globalization of contents and the expansion of students' knowledge, with the involvement of families in all areas of the curriculum.

The center defines its mission as making its students think, trust in their possibilities, and achieve their goals. Among its educational principles are inclusion, understood as a school for everyone where diversity is a source of learning and enrichment, and where it seeks to offer each person the same opportunities; the participation of the entire educational community, especially students and families, in the life of the center; innovation, incorporating new methodologies, knowledge, and technologies for the benefit of people; and emotional development, enhancing talent and creativity to help students become autonomous, competent, supportive, and happy. This is complemented by respect for oneself, others, and the environment, with healthy lifestyle habits and sustainability criteria; effort, with a culture of well-done work, individual responsibility, reflection, and constructive criticism; and solidarity, valuing the importance of helping, sharing, and contributing to a more humane and peaceful world.

The school has a cafeteria service, with monthly menus published, and offers extracurricular activities such as Romanian language, basketball, mountain biking, and dance. It has its own facilities and maintains channels of information, procedures, and enrollment for families.
