Escola Les Deveses

Escola Les Deveses is a public educational center located in Salt that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Specifically, it provides the first cycle of Early Childhood (0-3 years), the second cycle of Early Childhood (3-6 years), and the Primary stage (6-12 years), the latter organized into Initial, Middle, and Upper Cycles. The center has a welcoming classroom and offers lunch service, school transportation, and extracurricular activities. Instruction is provided in Spanish and Catalan. The school hours are continuous, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Throughout the school year, students participate in various projects and activities that complement the curriculum. Learning projects about animals, plants, or the painter Vasili Kandinsky are carried out, sometimes with family collaboration. There are also theatrical performances, such as the play 'La papallona sense color' for second grade, and various workshops, such as percussion for sixth grade or mathematics for third grade, which include activities with families. The center organizes outings and visits that complement the curriculum. Excursions have been made to natural environments such as Selva Aventura in Arbúcies, Granja Cal Cigarro, or Camp de les Olors, and visits to local institutions such as the Salt police, Iu Bohigas Library, or Fàbrica Jove. Additionally, activities such as Cultural Week, Sant Jordi's Floral Games, and performances related to this celebration are held. Some of these outings are supported by the Salt City Council. Among the activities carried out are visits to the theater to see 'La Tortuga Clementina', participation in International Mathematics Day with workshops for families, or visits to Iu Bohigas Library to learn about 'Must-Read Books'.
