Institut Vallvera

Institut Vallvera is a public educational center located in Salt. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP), both intermediate and basic levels, as well as higher-level programs. Among the training specialties are Administration and Finance, Auxiliary Nursing Care, and Early Childhood Education, among others. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan.

The center participates in international mobility programs such as Erasmus. Students from different programs undertake internships in France and Denmark, while faculty members engage in job-shadowing activities in Ireland and Denmark. These experiences are complemented by visits to companies and entrepreneurship projects, such as those developed by the Administration and Finance students, who have firsthand knowledge of the cooperative model of Som Energia.

In terms of complementary activities, the institute organizes math competitions such as the Tour de Mates, the Cangur Test, and the Mathematical Photography Contest. It also holds a literary contest in honor of Sant Jordi and technical talks on post-surgical patient care. The center's library features a space for literary recommendations prepared by the faculty. Students participate in outings to Cosmocaixa and Tarragona to learn about Roman heritage, as well as in the SAFIS race. Additionally, the center has a Welcome Classroom for newly arrived students.
