Los Olivos

CEIP Los Olivos is a public school in Las Rozas de Madrid that offers the first cycle of early childhood education (0-3 years), the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years), and primary education (6-12 years). Its educational offerings are structured around programs and projects such as bilingualism, Eco-school, information and communication technologies (ICT), an integral emotions project, the tutorial action plan, the school library, the INCLUYO plan, the promotion of reading, and the coexistence plan. The center has its own educational project (PEC) and organizational and operational rules.

Among the complementary services available are the school cafeteria, the First of the School service, and extracurricular activities. The school hours vary throughout the year: in September and June, it runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while from October to May, it is divided between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM. The cafeteria operates from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in September and June, and from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM from October to May. There is also extended hours in the mornings, from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, and in the afternoons until 6:00 PM.

At the beginning of the school year, the center holds informational meetings for families, differentiated for students joining early childhood education, for families of 3-year-olds regarding the adaptation period, and for those moving to first grade of primary education due to the change of stage. It also organizes open house days as part of its admission process. Regarding the teaching of Religion, families can express their choice before the start of the school year and request a change during the first week of September, as long as the organizational circumstances of the center allow it.
