Centro Educativo Punta Galea

Centro Educativo Punta Galea is a private and semi-private, mixed and non-confessional school, independent and respectful of any ideology that shares a democratic framework of coexistence. It has been dedicated to teaching for over sixty years and defines its offer as regulated studies for ages between 1 and 18 years, covering early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education, and Bachillerato. The center's profile includes the stages of second cycle early childhood education (3-6), primary education (6-12), and compulsory secondary education (12-16). English occupies a central place: the center indicates that language immersion begins in the early years of early childhood education and that Cambridge exams are prepared, with a registration period for them.

Among the services, the center has a cafeteria, school transport, extended hours, and extracurricular activities that include sports, Cambridge English, and workshops. As a new feature of the course, it incorporates the Workshop of Minds in Motion and the Nature Classroom Workshop. In the technological field, it applies the One to One system with Chromebooks from first year of compulsory secondary education to second year of Bachillerato, and all classrooms are equipped with heating and cooling from the start of the course. The center also organizes the Go Camp, a summer camp, and publishes its own podcast.

Its educational project is structured around several axes. The integral development of the person, training in respect and freedoms, the acquisition of intellectual habits and work techniques, training for the exercise of professional activities, and preparation to participate in social and cultural life, along with training for peace, cooperation, and solidarity among peoples. Among its highlighted projects are Punta Galea Digital, focused on new technologies; Music and Language; Sports, understood as a daily habit of physical, psychological, and social well-being; and a Solidarity Project in which the entire educational community participates.
