Escola Bernat Metge

Escola Bernat Metge is a public school in El Prat de Llobregat that provides early childhood and primary education. Its educational offerings cover the first cycle of early childhood education (0-3), the second cycle (3-6), and the primary stage (6-12). The center offers instruction in Spanish and Catalan, and has services such as a school cafeteria, school transportation, and extracurricular activities. Additionally, it has a digital strategy for the center.

The school organizes various complementary activities, such as school camps, workshops, and educational projects. Among them, participation in the Spring Festival Interseccions stands out, an initiative by the El Prat City Council to promote the playful use of the English language. Furthermore, projects from third and fifth-grade students have been selected as finalists in the mSchools Awards 2026. The center also receives visits from foreign schools, such as the Istituto Comprensivo di Montesilvano (Italy), with which it conducts joint activities. The AFA of the center organizes activities such as the book exchange market and the Jocs Florals, which involve families. Other activities include workshops on reptiles and interdisciplinary projects like "Aigua en joc" about responsible water consumption.
