CPEIP ARENAS

Colegio Arenas is a private and international school in Gran Canaria with two campuses. The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria campus hosts Nursery (ages 4 months to 3 years), Early Childhood Education (ages 3 to 6 years), and Primary Education (ages 6 to 12 years), and features the Aqua & Sports Center. The Arucas campus includes Secondary Education (ages 12 to 16 years) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) on over 68,000 m² in a natural setting.

The school is the only one in the Canary Islands authorized to offer all three International Baccalaureate programs (PYP, MYP, and Diploma) and holds the status of IB World School. It applies international programs from early childhood, with the Primary Years Program in the second cycle of early childhood and primary education and the Middle Years Program in secondary education. Its model is multilingual—English, German, French, and Chinese—with the possibility of achieving C2 level in English, and it offers immersion programs at its Sulis Manor residence in the English city of Bath, in addition to preparation for official exams from Cambridge, Goethe-Institut, CIEP, and Confucius Institute. With over 85 years of educational experience, it also offers the Arenas Saturday School, with enrollment open for 2026-2027, for students from 3 years old on Saturdays.

Its methodology includes STEAM and comprehensive training with sports, public speaking, and a wide range of extracurricular activities. It is the only center in the Canary Islands with its own private conservatory, the Conservatorio Superior de Música Arenas Albéniz. Among its projects, students work on public speaking, laboratory work, and the school garden, along with learning experiences in contact with nature. In 2025, its students achieved an average score of 8.42 in the EBAU and IB Diploma results above the national average.
