CPEIPS SANTA MARÍA MICAELA

CEIPS Santa María Micaela is a semi-private school in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria belonging to the Congregation of Adoratrices Esclavas del Santísimo Sacramento and of Charity. It offers Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Secondary Education, the latter including all four years of ESO. The center is defined by its own character and ideology, educating according to human-Christian values through its Pastoral area, aiming to foster a mature personality with individual criteria and autonomy.

Its educational project is oriented towards integral formation, equality, and attention to diversity, so that students become responsible individuals with personal initiative. It bets on innovation and new technologies and employs active and participatory methodologies that enhance critical and reflective spirit.

Regarding services and activities, it offers a cafeteria, school transport, early reception and late collection, library, youth choir, extracurricular activities, and private insurance, as well as a reporting channel. It has departments for Educational Quality, Guidance-NEAE, and Data Protection, as well as AMPA, which, together with the guidance teams, support teachers and families to adapt teaching processes to the characteristics and needs of each student. The center also has Pastoral and the Amaranta Foundation, and its offerings include learning French.
