CPEI GARABATO

Garabato is a private early childhood education center that provides the first cycle (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years). It has been in operation since 1978.

The educational project is based on the idea that each child is unique and relies on early learning. It is structured around personalized education, comprehensive education, and active learning. Development is worked on from the motor-sensory, intellectual, values, and affective-social areas.

The center has a dining room with its own kitchen and a varied and healthy diet. The menus are balanced and are prepared by licensed nutritionist Julia María Machado Roa. They include special options for crawlers, those with allergies, vegans, and vegetarians.

The facilities include classrooms, a playground, common areas, and bathrooms. Safety features include window opening sensors, presence sensors in classrooms and common areas, anti-collision corners, and anti-pinch doors. The playground is entirely covered with artificial grass, both on the walls and the floor, and the home automation, lighting control, and solar panels are oriented towards energy savings.

The regular schedule extends from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and includes fruit in the morning, lunch, and snack. The monthly fee is 550 euros. Early arrival, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and extended hours, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, each cost 50 euros per month.

If the student joins before the 15th of the month, the full month is charged. If they join from the 16th onwards, 30 euros per day is billed, regardless of the hours spent at the center and whether or not they attend due to illness. The incorporation is adapted to the needs of the child and the family.
