CPEE CIVITAS

CIVITAS is a private entity in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria specialized in serving people with intellectual disabilities. Its activity is oriented towards the well-being of the collective and their families.

It has an occupational center and a daytime care center that requires a third person. Both are accredited by the Government of the Canary Islands.

It develops sensory stimulation activities through touch, taste, and smell. It also organizes outings to Las Canteras beach for practicing water sports such as surfing, paddle surfing, kayaking, and snorkeling.

The CIVITAS Association has nearly 100 professionals who work daily for the well-being of the collective and their families.

Yes, the CIVITAS occupational center produces its own newspaper on a monthly basis.

The entity has benefited from subsidies for companies and equivalent organizations in the private sector participating in authorized dual vocational training projects in the 2022/2023 academic year. These subsidies are co-financed by the European Social Fund.
