Llar D'infants La Baldufa

La Llar d'infants La Baldufa is a municipal nursery school in Olesa de Montserrat. It has a capacity for 102 children, organized into groups of 0 to 1 year, 1 to 2 years, and 2 to 3 years, distributed across seven classrooms. The center is located in a quiet environment, away from the noise and pace of more urban areas, with wide views, and has bus stops and public transport nearby.

The center's project defines the school as a welcoming and warm space, with an aesthetic balance that allows children, families, and educational team members to coexist in a relaxed and joyful manner. The affectionate support of the adult is emphasized, who must be sensitive and create a climate of trust, approval, and support so that children find a secure base. The school is also envisioned as close and family-oriented, allowing families to enter and participate in daily life, and as documented, showcasing each child's day-to-day through images and posters. The family's trust in the school and the individual respect for each child are considered key to their motor and emotional development.

The center opens from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and offers several attendance modalities: morning only, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM; afternoon only, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM; full day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with lunch; and a day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with morning care and lunch.

The rooms are organized by age: the Estança de les Carícies for children from 4 to 12 months; les Abraçades, les Somriures, and les Rialles for the 1 to 2 years group; and les Petons and les Ganyotes for the 2 to 3 years group. The classrooms for 1 to 2 years and 2 to 3 years are connected, allowing children to access each one according to their interests. All have large windows that favor the entry of natural light and air renewal, as well as underfloor heating that allows children to go barefoot during the school day, except outdoors. Each room has spaces for movement, play, eating, resting, and changing and hygiene, as well as an outdoor space. The classrooms are equipped with Pikler changing tables and a washbasin, designed to provide safety and respect for free movement, encouraging active participation from children and bonding with adults.
