Virgen De La Encina

Virgen de la Encina is a private educational center located in Móstoles. It offers education from early childhood education (0-3 years) to Bachillerato (16-18 years), including second cycle early childhood education (3-6), Primary (6-12), and compulsory secondary education (ESO) (12-16). Its educational project, in operation since 1989, is based on the integral education of students, combining theoretical and practical training to prepare them for higher studies and the labor market. The center is secular with Christian roots, and its hallmark is the vocation and commitment of the teaching and management team.

The school is supported by four pillars: integral education from early childhood to Bachillerato, the promotion of languages and international projection, personal accompaniment and continuous academic guidance, and the application of active and innovative methodologies that include participation, technology, and critical thinking. In the different stages, discovery learning is promoted in early childhood, the consolidation of basic learning and autonomy in Primary, the development of critical thinking in Secondary, and preparation for higher studies in Bachillerato. Additionally, programs abroad are offered in collaboration with European Idiomas, with destinations in Ireland. The center has facilities such as a library, sports hall, football field, athletics track, computer room, auditorium, cafeteria, school garden, gym, playground, and children's park. It teaches in Spanish and English and offers cafeteria services, school transport, and extracurricular activities. For communication with families and academic management, it uses the Alexia platform. Its educational ideology promotes training in values, respect for fundamental rights and duties, personal freedom and responsibility, coexistence, solidarity, and commitment to justice and peace.
