Luis Buñuel

IES Luis Buñuel is a public secondary school located in Móstoles. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP) at both intermediate and advanced levels. The vocational training programs offered at the center are co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF+).

The center organizes its activities in two shifts: a morning shift from 8:20 AM to 2:15 PM, and an evening shift from 3:10 PM to 9 PM. The administration office provides in-person assistance from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Admission inquiries can be made electronically through Raíces or in person at the administration office, where presenting an ID is essential. Among its services, the center offers scholarships for students with specific educational support needs (ACNEAE) and the option for distance or virtual admission.

The institute has a service charter developed within the framework of the Quality Plan of the Community of Madrid, with the guidance of the General Directorate of Service Quality and Citizen Attention, which establishes the commitments it voluntarily assumes and which are included in its Educational Project. Its objectives include the academic training of students, the adoption of measures to attend to diversity, the application of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process, the promotion of reading habits, academic and personal guidance through the Tutorial Action Plan, the organization of exchanges with European centers to enhance language teaching, the establishment of a mediation team for conflict resolution, and collaboration with the AMPA in organizing extracurricular activities.
