La Milagrosa

La Milagrosa is a center located in Móstoles (Madrid) that began its teaching activity in 1980 as a hairdressing training center. At that time, it was authorized to provide Technical-Practical Knowledge teachings in the field of Hairdressing and Aesthetics, within the Basic Vocational Training. The increase in student applications led to the expansion of its facilities, and currently, it has two training centers dedicated to Vocational Training. The center is subsidized by the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid.

It offers vocational training cycles in Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate Degree, and Higher Degree. Specifically, it offers the Basic Degree cycle in Hairdressing and Aesthetics; the Intermediate Degree cycles in Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics and in Aesthetics and Beauty; and the Higher Degree cycles in Characterization and Professional Makeup, in Styling and Hairdressing Management, and in Personal and Corporate Image Consulting, the latter also available in distance learning mode. Upon completion of these cycles, an official diploma accredited by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training is obtained. Some higher cycles are private with the option for a scholarship from the Community of Madrid.

In addition, the center is authorized by the Ministry of Employment and Women of the Community of Madrid to provide Employment Training courses under the FIP Plan in the Personal Image family (hairdressing, aesthetics, makeup, and styling), which involve official professional certifications. It also offers non-regulated training adapted to the new demands of students. Its educational project seeks the comprehensive training of students through the transmission of knowledge, know-how, and being, with active, expository, cooperative, and participatory methodologies. The center promotes the development of cognitive abilities, social skills, teamwork, learning to learn, and human values, with entrepreneurial, supportive attitudes and respect for others and the environment. It has management, teaching staff, and an orientation department, and provides theoretical and practical classes.
