Dalmatas

Dálmatas Preschool is a private center in Móstoles authorized by the Community of Madrid that provides the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, for children aged 0 to 3 years, and has been supporting children and their families since 2000. Its project is based on flexible education where children learn through play and experimentation with their environment, using a meaningful, globalizing, and playful methodology that promotes observation, exploration, and manipulation, allowing learning to occur through discovery. The team, composed of teachers and early childhood education technicians, works to foster each child's autonomy through support and respect for their personality, addressing their emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development through activities and workshops.

The center features a playground of over 150 m² with a garden, plants, and trees, where children can experiment with soil in a natural environment, and a specific psychomotor classroom equipped with materials and games adapted to each stage, where expression and development through movement are emphasized. It also offers a dining service, with menus prepared daily at the school using fresh products tailored to the needs of each age group, as well as a computer room and a school garden. English is introduced naturally through games, songs, and everyday actions.

Regarding organization, the school offers flexible and extended hours, early bird service, extracurricular activities, and school transport, and keeps enrollment open throughout the year. Family participation is central to the project: the center is designed as a school open to parents, who can attend celebrations and participate in games and activities, with dedicated spaces to connect with other families and communication channels such as the daily agenda or meetings. The adaptation period is conceived as the moment to establish a trusting relationship with the educator and the school.
