Blas De Otero

CEIP Blas de Otero is a public school in Móstoles that offers Early Childhood and Primary Education. It operates continuously from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and provides breakfast service from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM, lunch from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and extracurricular activities from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The curriculum includes English, with differentiated textbooks according to the grade.

The school has a student-produced newspaper and has collaborated with Onda Madrid on the program La Radio del Cole, where 4th-grade students participated alongside presenter Daniel Ortuño. It is part of the Regional Plan against drugs of the Community of Madrid, with two anonymous reporting boxes managed by the Unit of coexistence and against bullying through the EducaMadrid platform. It organizes cultural days, open house events, Carnival and Christmas celebrations, and the end-of-year party, as well as talks for families about the use of technology, for which it opens the library to students. It also promotes solidarity campaigns for collecting clothing and footwear and has received a diploma for collaborating against childhood leukemia.

The AMPA manages membership registration and enrollment in extracurricular activities and maintains communication channels with families. The school informs about lunch scholarships and assistance for free breakfast, as well as the municipal call for family aid, and carries out the process for elections to the School Council.
