Fontenebro International School

Fontenebro International School is a private international school located in Moralzarzal, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, that supports its students from early childhood education through to Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Its educational project combines the Spanish curriculum with international methodologies: the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Primary and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) in Secondary. The model is bilingual in Spanish and English, with options for French and German, and in Bachillerato offers the modalities of Sciences, Social Sciences, and Arts, in addition to an Arts Bachillerato focused on disciplines such as Artistic Drawing, Design, or Audiovisual Production.

The school develops a personalized curriculum that fosters communication, critical thinking, and autonomy, and includes a specific program for students with high abilities, as well as STEAM and robotics proposals. Life skills are addressed in five areas — cognitive, interpersonal, self-leadership, digital, and global — within the framework of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), to which the school belongs. Among the opportunities offered are international exchanges, TEDx Youth, chess tournaments, and collaborative projects with students from other countries. It also promotes well-being and environmental awareness through its Eco-school and Green Learning project.

The campus is located in a natural setting in the Sierra de Guadarrama and features facilities such as a swimming pool, library, sports hall, football field, laboratory, and computer room. It offers cafeteria service, school transport, and extracurricular activities.
