Mare De Déu De Lourdes

Mare de Déu de Lourdes is a private school in Mataró that offers Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education. In the Early Childhood stage, children learn through manipulation, play, and reflection, and later share what they have learned; the teaching team accompanies them respecting each child's pace, aiming to foster their autonomy, security, and well-being. Significant learning, teamwork in small groups, the acquisition of habits, and the development of emotional bonds are prioritized, with the collaboration of families. In Primary, personalized learning is promoted in an environment of trust and cooperation, caring for the relationship between teachers, students, and families, adapting to each child's needs and enhancing their talents and autonomy. In Secondary, the focus is on promoting autonomy and well-being.

The educational project of the center aims to form competent and collaborative children and young people, critical and creative, emotionally strong and persevering, responsible citizens with global awareness, and respectful and inclusive of diversity. The center defines itself as open to everyone and directs its efforts towards the integral education of students in the social, human, cultural, physical, artistic, and experiential fields.

Among the services of the center are the dining room with its own kitchen, morning care, summer camp, psychopedagogical service, extracurricular activities, and its status as a training center. It has a family association (AFA) and organizes activities such as the Solidarity Festival of Misericòrdia and a spring camp organized by Enlleurat. It teaches in Spanish and Catalan and offers school transport.
