Institut Les Cinc Sénies

Institut Les Cinc Sénies is a public educational center in Mataró that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato, the latter organized into different modalities and itineraries. The center structures part of its activity around foundational periods, projects, and GEIN, and has a welcome classroom for newly arrived students. Its linguistic offer includes a bilingual line and a second foreign language, in addition to Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Among its facilities and resources is a library, which also has a digital version. The center develops initiatives such as an educational transformation laboratory and a digital strategy, and identifies as a research center. It is also a MUFPS training center and participates in Erasmus+ programs, with teacher mobility, and in international STEAMcat. It promotes student exchanges, such as the one carried out with a German institute, and organizes school camps.

The center has a secretariat and public attention, and uses the TokApp platform for communication with families. The purchase of textbooks, ecoBooks, digital licenses, and other school materials is managed through Iddink. The students of the Biomedicine subject launched a blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Banc de Sang de Catalunya.
