Institut Damià Campeny

Institut Damià Campeny is a public center located in Mataró that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). The center offers elective subjects in different ESO courses and in Bachillerato, and supports students in accessing further studies, both vocational training (FP) and university. It also has accreditation in Catalan and manages validations, equivalencies, and exemptions for studies.

The institute has a guidance department and educational tutoring and guidance in each ESO course and in Bachillerato. Among its services are school mediation and a mediation service for students, as well as project spaces. The center develops its own projects, including an Erasmus+ project, and has a digital strategy in place. Its educational project is documented in materials such as the annual general programming, organizational and operational rules, and agreements and budgets.

For families, the center provides information on communications, payments, scholarships and aids, extracurricular activities, the environment plan, emotional well-being, coordination with other entities, and outings approved by the school council. There is a Parents' Association (AFA) and a family dossier is provided, along with information on grades. The center also publishes the start-of-year meetings and meetings for new families, as well as the enrollment process. It has digital platforms for work and communication with students and families.
