Escola Els Convents

Escola Els Convents is a public center in Martorell that presents itself as a school for everyone. It offers complete early childhood and primary education, from 1st to 6th grade, with the latter structured into initial, middle, and upper cycles. The working languages of the center are Catalan and Spanish.

The center is part of the SI! (Integral Health) project of the Gasol Foundation, within which it organizes days with activities focused on physical activity, healthy habits, and balanced nutrition, involving students, teachers, and families. In the classroom, upper cycle students work on robotics to develop computational thinking, using materials provided by the Department of Education, and in 5th grade, lapbooks are used as a resource to organize, summarize, and present information. The school also promotes interlinguistic activities around the library and days of the Sisme project.

Regarding services, the center has a cafeteria and publishes monthly menus. It organizes the Conventsxef day, with cooking workshops in collaboration with families and the Conventsxef Awards, as well as open house days and open playground sessions accessible to everyone. During the summer, it hosts the Viu l'Estiu a l'Escola activity program, aimed at children aged 3 to 12 years.
