Travesuras

Travesuras is a private early childhood school located in Málaga, in the Cruz de Humilladero district, offering first cycle Early Childhood Education (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years) in Spanish. It is part of the aid plan for families by the Junta de Andalucía, allowing families to access subsidized places. The center has been supporting children and families since 2009 and launched its own educational project, Educar para Ser, in 2018, a methodology based on conscious education and respectful parenting. This project earned recognition from UNICEF as a Reference Center in Children's Rights at level 2. The center views the child as a seed that needs appropriate conditions to grow and develop, organizing its work around this idea. Its facilities are adapted for walking barefoot, in what it calls Shoe-Free School. It also has the Life School, a training service aimed at both families and educators.

The center's cafeteria prepares a daily menu in its own kitchen, using fresh products, organic fruits and vegetables, and local trade, following pediatric recommendations and with dietary advice. The menu is balanced and free from sugars, salt, processed foods, and unhealthy fats, and it adapts to different feeding methods (BLW, purees, or mixed), as well as allergies, intolerances, and vegan diets. For breastfeeding babies, there is the option to bring frozen breast milk and a space for mothers to breastfeed. The center has an electronic agenda service through an app where families can access the daily report of the student, photo galleries, chat with the teaching team, circulars, and information about the children's development. Throughout the school year, documentation of each child's learning process and a digital photo report are prepared and delivered to families at the end of each term on a USB drive.

It offers morning class from 07:30 to 09:00, with rest or playful proposals and Montessori breakfast at 09:00, and afternoon class from 15:00 to 17:00, with workshops and experiences of sensory exploration and emotions, as well as Montessori snack at 16:00. Among the services and activities are English, children's yoga, family workshops, and therapies for mothers and parenting advice.
