Pablo Neruda

CEIP Pablo Neruda is a public school for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Málaga, in the Cruz de Humilladero district. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and the Primary stage in Spanish, and provides morning classroom services, school meals, and extracurricular activities.

Among its facilities and projects, the school library Biblioneruda, a school garden, and a shadow theater workshop stand out. The library organizes reading mentorship workshops as part of its work plan. Throughout the school year, the center organizes a Cultural Week and a Literary Contest, in which the educational community participates, and maintains a gallery showcasing the activities carried out. Actions linked to Municipal Educational Programs and Social Services of the district are also developed, such as outings to Parque del Oeste to learn about its flora and fauna, visits to Bioparc, or excursions to a farm school with rural and multi-adventure activities.

The AMPA of the center collaborates in organizing various initiatives, including graduation events for 5-year-old Early Childhood Education students and 6th-grade Primary students, the traditional breakfast for the Day of Andalucía, and other complementary and recreational activities for the students. The center also celebrates days such as Family Day and International Women's Day, with proposals involving students, teachers, and families.
