Juan Ramón Jiménez

IES Juan Ramón Jiménez is a public secondary school in Málaga, under the Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training of the Junta de Andalucía. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) in Spanish, with a bilingual project in English, and has a Moodle platform for access by its educational community. Among its teachings, it offers the subject of Chinese Language.

The center develops a Digital Action Plan and participates in the School Code 4.0, aimed at developing digital competence, computational thinking, programming, robotics, and the use of artificial intelligence, with its own department for Educational Digital Transformation. Its programs include Erasmus+, the Andalusian Art and Education Program, the Andalusian Network "School Space of Peace", aulaDjaque, ComunicA, Healthy Living Habits, Aldea, More Sports, PROA Andalucía, the State Pact against Gender Violence, the Gender Equality Plan in Education, Emotional Well-being, Educational Compensation, and the school library. Its structure includes departments of Foreign Languages, Spanish Language and Literature, Social Sciences and International Relations, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology, and Artistic, Musical, and Sports Education.

Among its activities are a chess league, sports leagues, a cultural week, the 3D design of a modular lunar colony by the 3rd ESO students, and activities in French. Guidance is articulated through tutorial action, Orient-Arte, and attention to diversity.
