Soto Mesa

Soto Mesa is an active music school since 1969, when it opened its first center. It has a team of more than twenty teachers and four own centers in the municipality of Madrid, including those in Malasaña, Barrio del Pilar, and Moratalaz. It is an authorized center by the Community of Madrid to teach Elementary and Professional Music Education, and also offers free teaching for music enthusiasts of any age.

Its educational offer includes music classes for children of all ages, with the Suzuki and Max and Mia musical methods, as well as courses and workshops with varied dynamics for all ages, with or without prior musical knowledge. Training is organized with individual instrument classes and theoretical subjects taught in small groups, and with the collaboration of teachers and performers who conduct courses and master classes for improvement at their centers. Among the available instruments are trumpet, guitar, voice, piano, violin, percussion, and saxophone, among others.

The school periodically organizes workshops and events with its own and guest teachers, as well as commented auditions, and offers band and combo classes with one hour per week alongside a dedicated teacher for the group. It also has a space called Musical Gym, to make music without theory or pressure starting from 8 years old, and a service for renting classrooms of different sizes and an auditorium for classes, master classes, or recitals. It also offers gift vouchers for 1, 3, or 5 individual classes.
