San Victor

San Víctor Early Childhood Education Center is a private school belonging to the San Víctor Parish, subsidized by the Community of Madrid. It is located in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district of Madrid, next to the neighborhoods of Mirasierra, Montecarmelo, and Herrera Oria. It caters to the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, for children aged 0 to 3 years, with a capacity for 62 children. Its facilities include interior and exterior spaces planned with educational criteria: baby classrooms, 1-2 year classrooms, and 2-3 year classrooms, a laboratory, a computer room, a gym, a multipurpose room, a special education classroom, a children's restroom, as well as a large sand playground, a covered playground, fenced rubber playgrounds for babies, and a garden with a vegetable patch.

The center has a dining room with its own kitchen, with food prepared on-site under health control, and an extended schedule service from 8:00 to 9:00 with breakfast and from 16:00 to 17:00 with a snack, based on a general schedule from 9:00 to 16:00. It remains open from September to July. Its educational project employs play as the main methodological resource, with corner play, exploration activities, sensory development, and psychomotricity, respecting free movement and the learning rhythms of each student. English is taught within the framework of the BEDA program of Catholic Schools, and diversity is addressed with the support of a Therapeutic Pedagogy teacher.

Coordination with families is organized through personal interviews, informational meetings, and training encounters, meetings with the center's psychologist, evaluation reports, school council, a library for parents with book lending, parties, workshops, outings, circulars, bulletin boards, a parents' corner, and a suggestion box. Student admission is preferably done online, with in-person attention for families without digital access, and there is the possibility to request a reduced dining price from the Community of Madrid and to use childcare vouchers from companies.
