Isaac Newton

IES Isaac Newton is a public educational center located in Madrid, in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and a vocational training (FP) program in Administrative Management. It also provides information on procedures and processes for vocational training. The center has a library, laboratory, and virtual classroom, and uses Spanish and English as teaching languages.

The center promotes various projects and activities throughout the school year. In the area of coexistence and well-being, it has a coexistence team and develops initiatives for emotional well-being. It organizes a cultural week, a literary contest, and the launch of a weather balloon, among other activities. It also carries out the project We Are Architects, the school garden, and actions to promote the values of the Olympic Games. Students in Administration and Management undertake specific projects, and the center collaborates with the School of Design. Additionally, educational trips are organized, such as the trip to Dublin.

Regarding programs and resources, the center participates in ACCEDE, MadridRead, and 4º ESO+Empresa, which offers training periods in companies of 3, 4, or 5 days for 4th ESO students. It is part of the EducaMadrid platform and has a news space and an informative bulletin. It holds meetings with tutors and offers resources such as global classrooms (CLASSROOM), videos of the center, and a guidance tool (ORIENTA). Furthermore, it has the ZLA Diploma and is linked to the European Social Fund. The center also showcases the work of its students.
