Escuela Deportiva Liceo Sorolla B

Liceo Sorolla School is a secular center in Madrid, located in the Puerta de Hierro area and the Barrio del Pilar, which began its educational work in 1971. It started as a private school and over the years transformed into a semi-private center. Under the semi-private regime, it offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and vocational training (FP); under the private regime, it offers Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) and higher vocational training.

The center pays special attention to the teaching of foreign languages, with English, French, and German and experiential learning, and has a bilingual program and an American Dual Bachillerato. Its educational project is based on participatory pedagogy, where the student is the protagonist of their learning and their initiative and creativity are encouraged, along with a comprehensive human training in the intellectual, emotional, and motor aspects.

Among its services are a cafeteria, extracurricular activities, extended hours, guidance department, immersion trips, and an English academy, as well as a uniform. In recent years, the center has been renewing its facilities and adapting them to current needs, with exclusive areas for each stage and classrooms and materials adapted to each of them.
