Sagrada Família School, in Lleida, is a Christian educational center subsidized by the Generalitat of Catalonia and open to all students. It is part of the Anna Maria Janer Educational Foundation and offers enrollment places from 0 years (nursery) to 4th year of compulsory secondary education (ESO). It provides early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with instruction in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French, and offers extracurricular activities. It also offers the American Dual Bachillerato program, which allows students to obtain the official "US High School" diploma.
Its educational project aims for the comprehensive development of the student and promotes autonomy, motivation, and meaningful learning, with the goal that each student acquires the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge to reach their maximum potential. It is structured around five pillars: educational innovation, a unique character, teaching and learning values, habits and autonomy, and emotional work. Project-based work is present in the different stages and, in ESO, it is carried out quarterly in daily time slots over two weeks.
The center has its own transversal project "Acceptem les cookies?", aimed at fostering critical thinking among students regarding the use of new technologies and concepts such as big data, algorithms, digital identity, fake news, and social networks; it also works with families through sessions and workshops. In early childhood education, including the nursery, learning environments are used — also inter-level between EI3, EI4, and EI5 — that address symbolic play, scientific-sensory experiences, theatrical representation, creation with materials, plastic arts, mini-worlds, and critical reasoning. Artistic and musical education is addressed in various stages: environments for plastic expression and representation in early childhood education, theater in primary education and ESO, participation in drawing contests and Animac, and an extracurricular musical awareness activity from EI3 and 1st grade of primary education. Students in the upper cycle of primary education and 1st and 2nd years of ESO learn chess as part of mathematics, participating in the ADEJO School Chess League and the solidarity tournament "Tots juguem". Emotional education and theater are taught as subjects from early childhood education to ESO and, in primary education and ESO, in English.
