Escolàpies Igualada

Escolàpies Igualada is a semi-private school located in Igualada that offers early childhood education (first cycle, 0-3, and second cycle, 3-6), Primary (6-12), Secondary, Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP). Its educational offer is organized in a multilingual environment: students begin learning English in early childhood education and, throughout the years, the time dedicated to languages increases.

The school promotes sustainability through the Escamot verd group, formed by students from all Primary courses, which promotes environmental values. It also defines itself as innovative by employing methodologies and technologies as learning tools. Among its services are the school cafeteria with a monthly menu and morning care. In the Primary stage, which includes six courses distributed over three cycles (6 to 12 years), co-teaching is applied during Language and Mathematics hours, and computer science and robotics are used as learning instruments. Students from 1st to 4th grade swim in the Les Comes pool for one term each year. Education in values and solidarity is materialized in campaigns to address needs in the environment or related to the mission places of the Escolàpies.

The school is part of the Escolàpies network, with a presence in Europe, Asia, Africa, and America, and has nearly 200 years of educational history, initiated by Paula Montal, a pioneer in education and the promotion of women. Among its projects are the Projecte VOL, the Mirada Montessori, and the Digital Strategy.
